<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to relay an ATM cell row received from an ATM network to another ATM network through a variable length frame transfer network. <P>SOLUTION: An ATM cell transfer device includes an ATM interface 11, an OAM 12 terminating the OAM cell included in an ATM cell column and outputting the ATM cell column including a newly generated OAM cell, a first buffer 13 for distributing and accumulating the ATM cell column into a plurality of queues, a subframe assembly 14 for reading a series of ATM cells from the queue fulfilling predetermined conditions and constituting a subframe including these ATM cells in a payload, a MAC frame assembly 15 constituting the MAC frame including the subframe in the payload and transmitting to the relay network, and a controller 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
