READER-WRITER AND COMMUNICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader-writer and a communication method and system using the reader-writer for shortening the generation time of the power supply voltage of an IC tag by efficiently using a radio wave.

SOLUTION: This reader-writer is provided with a data signal generating circuit 32 for generating an encoded signal by encoding a digital signal and a transmission circuit 23 for transmitting a modulated wave obtained by modulating the encoded signal to an IC tag 1 in an encoded signal acceptance period in the IC tag 1, and for transmitting a carrier wave to the IC tag 1 in the execution period of processing based on the encoded signal in the IC tag 1.
