PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joystick device capable of conducting a fine and accurate operation of an operation lever and easily stopping the operation lever at an intended position. SOLUTION: The device comprises a fixed member 2, an operation lever 1 that can be moved against the fixed member 2, and a movable member 3 that slides against the fixed member 2 in correspondence with the movement of the operation lever 1. A permanent magnet 2d or 3d is disposed either on the side of the fixed member 2 or on the side of the movable member 3, and a magnetic body that generates magnetic force between the permanent magnet 2d or 3b is disposed either on the side of the fixed member 2 or on the side of the movable member 3 (the side where the permanent magnet 2d or 3b is not disposed).
