摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductive conductor containing MgB<SB>2</SB>having high volume ratio usable to manufacture large superconductive compact and capable of machining, such as rolling after manufacture, extruding, punching and cutting. SOLUTION: The MgB<SB>2</SB>particle-aluminum composite material is manufactured by molding a MgB<SB>2</SB>particle by pressing under pressure of 1-10 MPa to form a preform having MgB<SB>2</SB>volume ratio of 20-50%, making molten aluminum of not more than 1273K to penetrate by pressing under pressure of 5-10 MP into the preform, and simultaneously cooling the bottom face of the preform quickly.
