PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional detection method that a radio terminal is not necessarily located in the vicinity of a wireless machine from which the strongest signal is received in relation to radio propagation, and improvement in accuracy is needed, the conventional method comprising setting wireless machines in different positions within a fixed area, receiving signals transmitted from the wireless machines, detecting signal intensities thereof, and determining the position of a wireless machine showing the strongest signal intensity as the position of the radio terminal. SOLUTION: In this position detection system, a first candidate and a second candidate are displayed, whereby a second candidate site is confirmed even if the radio terminal is absent in a first candidate site.
