PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate high speed or the like of a stacker crane by descending a position of center of gravity by making an upper frame light weight in the stacker crane. SOLUTION: An upper frame 34 is turnably mounted between front and rear masts 14, 15 through a shaft 36 and the shaft 36 is co-used as a shaft of sheaves 26, 27. Since moment is not acted between the mast and the upper frame, the high speed traveling of the stacker crane can be easily performed by making the upper frame to light weight.
