PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for pulling out a core pipe widely applicable to a roll of wound plastic film including not only a waste of a sticking tape but a broad width plastic film and a device for it. SOLUTION: The method for pulling out the core pipe comprises a step for softening or melting by heating an adhesive joining a plastic film with the core pipe from the inside of the core pipe around which the plastic film is wound, a step for notching or cutting the wound plastic film along the longitudinal direction of the core pipe and a step for pulling out the core pipe from the plastic film and the device for it.
