PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line type inkjet recording apparatus which makes maintenance costs low. SOLUTION: This line type inkjet recording apparatus comprises a carrying mechanism part for carrying an object to be recorded, and a plurality of head units which are composed of a plurality of head modules with a plurality of nozzles for ejecting ink. The line type inkjet recording apparatus performs recording in the stationary state of the head units during the recording on the object to be recorded.
