PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional pipe cutting-off apparatus requires a long cutting-off time, and is complicated in its structure and expensive, and the accuracy and the appearance of products are poor. SOLUTION: The pipe cutting-off apparatus comprises dies 1a, 1b for fixing a pipe 20, a fusiform cross section punch 11 which is placed such that its end surface faces to the end surfaces of the dies 1a, 1b so as to keep a minute clearance, and has tip end cutting-off portions 17a, 17b on line shape portions of peripheral cutting-off portions 16 provided at peripheral corners of its end surface, which peripheral cutting-off portions 16 face to each other in the longitudinal direction, and punch driving means 14, 15 which move in the Y and X directions, and cut the pipe 20 fitted on the punch 11 in the Y axis direction by means of the tip end cutting-off portions 17a, 17b, and cut the pipe 20 in the X axis direction by means of the peripheral cutting-off portions 16.
