PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particularly reliable method for producing a deformation-processed, locally reinforced sheet metal component, and a corresponding sheet metal component. SOLUTION: The method is used to produce a deformation-processed, locally reinforced sheet metal component (10), in which a metal reinforced sheet (14) is fixed to a metal base sheet (12) by means of a brazing joint (16) before or during the deformation process.
