PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut off the backflow of an odor from a sewer pipe by simple operation. SOLUTION: This catch basin trap 11 has an overflow water pipe 12 installed in a drain port of a catch basin bottom arranged so as to rise in a catch basin and capable of draining water in the catch basin by overflowing in a pipe from an opening 13, a sealing water cap 31 for covering the opening 13 by covering the overflow water pipe and having a bottom surface opening arranged in a position lower than the opening, and support means 21, 22 and 33 each supporting the sealing water cap by the overflow water pipe. The support means supports the sealing water cap so that the sealing water cap can relatively move to the overflow water pipe between a first position (a) for holding the inner surface of the sealing water cap and the opening of the overflow water pipe in a state of mutually separating an interval and a second position (b) for blocking up the opening by the sealing water cap when the inner surface of the sealing water cap abuts on the opening of the overflow water pipe. When the catch basin is not used, the cap is lowered by rotating the sealing water cap, and an upper end opening 13 of the overflow water pipe can be blocked up. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
