PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainboard which improves the air permeability thereof between bedding and the drainboard per se, but suppresses degradation in strength due to the improved air permeability to a possible minimum extent. SOLUTION: The drainboard is formed of a number of laterally extending transverse boards 2 arranged almost in parallel with each other at predetermined intervals, and support portions 5, 6 mounting and supporting the transverse boards 2 thereon. Part of or all of the transverse boards 2 have a number of vertically penetrating ventilation holes 7. Each of the holes 7 is formed of a first hole 7A and a second hole 7B. The first hole 7A extends from an upper surface on which the bedding is mounted to a predetermined depth that is located on an upper side of a half of a vertical thickness of the transverse board 2, and has an almost constant size throughout the entire depth. The second hole 7B is formed from a lower edge of the first hole 7A to a lower end face of the transverse board 2 and has a size smaller than that of the first hole 7A. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
