PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent settings from getting fraudulently changed without opening a door in a game machine. SOLUTION: Communication between a main board 1 attached to the housing 120 side and a sub board 2 attached to the door 130 side is made by infrared rays L. Since infrared ray communication is interrupted by a change in the positional relationship between a light emitting section 10 and a light receiving section 20, the sub board cannot receive a command signal from the main board during the normal change of settings done with the door opened. However, during the change of settings by a fraudulent act, a fraudulent change of settings made with the door closed, the sub board receives a command from the main board. Consequently, when the sub board receives a command signal meaning that settings are being changed, the fraudulent conduct can be detected by putting the machine in an error condition.
