The present invention relates to a method for designating a position of a patient for an isocenter of a medical imaging device. The present invention relates to the method for designating the position of the patient for the isocenter of the medical imaging device for a medical imaging test. The method for designating the position of the patient comprises: a step for obtaining position data of the patient before entering the patient into a patient receiving area of the imaging device; a step for evaluating obtained position data related to a patient image; a step for delivering the patient image to a graphic interface unit, and displaying the patient image by using the graphic interface unit; and a step for determining one or more location points in the patient image by using the graphic interface unit which is a step for designating the position of the patient for the isocenter.
