PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain box capable of securing a sufficient ventilating efficiency responding to so-called "24-hour ventilation", reducing load such as drilling relative to a dwelling house and retaining the aesthetic appearance in a habitable room. SOLUTION: This approximately box-shaped curtain box A1 is provided with an opening 1 in its lower part and can store curtain rails 2. This curtain box A1 is formed with ventilation zones 4 (in this case, a left ventilation zone 4a and a right ventilation zone 4b) partitioned by partitions 3 (in this case, a left partition 3a and a right partition 3b) in the both sides of the curtain rails 2, and is provided with ventilation holes 6 (in this case, a left ventilation hole 6a and a right ventilation hole 6b) in (ceiling side) bottoms 5a of the ventilation zones 4 to reduce the load such as drilling relative to the dwelling house and sufficiently retain the aesthetic appearance in the habitable room 12.
