PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATION OF HERBAL MEDICINES BASED ON PHYTOLACCA AMERICANA, ALNUS ACUMINATA EXTRACTS AND COAL TAR FOR TREATING AND CURING PSORIASIS

The invention concerns a pharmaceutical formulation of herbal medicines comprising hydroalcoholic Phytolacca americana and Alnus acuminata extracts and coal tar for treating and curing psoriasis in all its pathological forms. The ointment, which constitutes the preferred embodiment of the invention is applied for a period between 25 and 60 days on the body parts affected by psoriasis. In case of psoriasis on the scalp, a shampoo, which constitutes the preferred embodiment of the invention, is applied during the patient's daily health care so as to allow the shampoo to act for 15 minutes before rinsing with water. The invention also concerns methods for obtaining hydroalcoholic Phytolacca americana and Alnus acuminata extracts.
