LABEL PRINTER AND ITS LABEL STATE NOTIFICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely confirm that a printed label is transferred to a label removal position even when printing is carried out to labels of different lengths.

SOLUTION: The label printer prints by a printing head to the labels pasted continuously to a mount, and transfers the mount and the printed labels to the label removal position through a label peeling mechanism. The label printer is equipped with a notifying means which issues (S56) to a host computer information that indicates that the label printer becomes a state in which the printing object label is transferred to the label removal position.
