HEATING SYSTEM OF ENERGY STORAGE DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the system which can maintain a battery temperature to a level of ensuring starting of an electric vehicle and the battery temperature by a mode controlled so as to ensure optimum vehicle performance.

SOLUTION: A battery, while being connected to an external power source, can be maintained at an appropriate temperature. The temperature of the battery can be maintained to a level that ensures starting. A heater system includes a heater arranged in the inside of the battery itself. The battery heater system is constituted such that it can be connected to an AC power source, by using a single common connector together with an engine block heater.
