摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To write a EEPROM by means of execution of a program in a single-chip microcomputer with a built-in EEPROM even if the EEPROM is in a non-written state. <P>SOLUTION: The single-chip microcomputer provides an address space having a central processing unit, a first nonvolatile memory field storing the writing control program, and a second nonvolatile memory field to write the program and data therein. The first and second nonvolatile memory fields are arranged on an address field different from the address space in response to an operation mode. When the data is written into the second nonvolatile memory field by the second operation mode, an acceptance of an interruption demand is prohibited.
