PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deceleration controller for a vehicle which performs appropriate deceleration control even when a road where the vehicle enters is not specified when a plurality of roads exist, having a possibility of the travelling of a vehicle in the front of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The deceleration controller for the vehicle imparts the vehicle a deceleration degree to travel on the road in front of the vehicle when the intention of the driver to perform deceleration is detected. When the plurality of roads 402, 409 having a possibility of the travelling of a vehicle in front of the vehicle exists, the required deceleration degrees are obtained relative to the respective roads (S190) and a deceleration degree between the obtained deceleration degrees is imparted to the vehicle (S210). When the number of the roads having the possibility of the travelling of a vehicle is not more than a prescribed value N (step S190-Y), the required deceleration degrees are obtained relative to the respective roads.
