PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding type battery in which collection of current collecting tabs can be simplified, and which has a compact structure. SOLUTION: A cylindrical lithium-ion battery has an electrode group 6 in which a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate are wound around the surrounding of a shaft core 9. On both sides of the electrode group 6, the current collecting tabs 8 are respectively led out to the opposite side of the electrode group from the positive and negative electrode plates. Led out end parts of the current collecting tabs 8 are folded back on the upper face side of a current collecting member 2 and pinched between the current collecting members 1, 2. A male screw 5 protrusively installed at the current collecting member 2 is screwed with a metallic nut 3 via a through-hole 4 of the current collecting member 1. A female screw formed in the inner peripheral face of the male screw 5 is screwed with the male screw of a terminal bolt. The current collecting members 1, 2 are fastened in a state of pinching the current collecting tab 8 between them, and the current collecting tab 8 is connected electrically to the terminal bolt via the current collecting members 1, 2.
