PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cartridge which stores ink of another kind from being set wrong in a holder where the cartridge should not be originally set, in a state in which various kinds of ink is supplied. SOLUTION: The inkjet type recorder is equipped with a reading means which reads out information from a storage medium at the set ink cartridge, an information analyzing means which analyzes the information read by the reading means, and an ink-intake means which is driven by a control signal generated by the information analyzing means and is connected to the ink cartridge to make the ink led out.
