PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable confirmation of use of acted video image material without reading the material from a database instrument which holds edited video image material when performing program work. SOLUTION: An archive management device is provided with a database unit which holds video image material metadata which describes video image material and content of the video image material, program configuration table metadata which describes content of a program configuration table and editing metadata which describes content of editing of the video image material, and with a simple program regenerating metadata generation unit which performs generation processing of simple program regenerating metadata based on the video image material metadata, the program configuration table metadata and the editing metadata which are held in the database unit to a program configuration table ID which specifies an inputted program configuration table as one meaning and related with the program configuration table ID.
