PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment and an announcing method thereof to guide an effective operation when a user performs ineffective operations. SOLUTION: A controller 20 has a voice reading function. When a display part 14 is in displaying state and keys other than effective keys of multiple keys at a key input part 15 are operated, it is announced by voice reading by a speaker 131 that the operated keys are invalid and which keys are effective.
