摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically correct the deviation of focal point occurring in a scanning of a field of a rotating type scanner. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic imaging device 300 is composed of: an image forming system 402 including a plurality of optical components and the plurality of optical components include a light source 420 which generates a light beam, rotating type scanner 426 which produces an image plane on a photoreceptor element 406 by sweeping the light beam, and an objective lens 422 located between the light source and the rotating type scanner along an optical axis; and a motion control system including a focal point motor 436, which dynamically positions at least one of the optical components along the optical axis and is so composed to eliminate the field curvature existing on the image plane introduced by the rotating type scanner.
