PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly store a lens barrel in an optical apparatus while not taking a photograph. SOLUTION: At the time of non-photographing, a diaphragm driving windmill is engaged with a second member, and a lens movement frame is moved out of an optical axis by diaphragm opening and closing operations, and then the optical apparatus is collapsed to shorten the overall length at the time of collapse.
