PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder discrimination device of a four-stroke cycle engine simply formed and capable of reducing the number of rotations of a crankshaft required for completing the discrimination of stroke. SOLUTION: This stroke discrimination device comprises intake pressure sensors detecting the intake pressures of either two cylinders of a plurality of cylinders with different ignition timings and a stroke discrimination means discriminating the strokes of the cylinders based on a difference in intake pressure therebetween detected by the two intake sensors.
