SEQUENCING OF MODIFIED NUCLEIC ACID MOLECULES

Modified nucleic acids are used for many purposes in research, diagnostic, and treatment protocols. However, direct sequencing of such molecules is generally considered to remspecial conditions. Methods of making a cDNA using a modified nucleic acid molecule and sequencing methods of sequencing a modified nucleic acid molecule are described.
