Compact assembly facility has process stations around a revolving robotic system

A compact assembly facility has the process stations ( 31 to 36) in a ring around a revolving, multi axle robotic system (30), rather than in a conventional line arrangement. The process stations (31 to 34) each perform one or more process operations while the other stations (35, 36) transfer the workpieces to and from the assembly system. At least one of the process stations includes a vibrator system to align the components prior to assembly.
