<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup for not damaging the surface of an optical disk by reducing frictional force acting between a movable part and the optical disk during rotation when they are brought into contact with each other. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup 1 comprises the movable part 4 capable of adjusting the position of an objective lens 3, a plurality of support wires 5 for movably supporting the movable part, a support base 6 for supporting the support wires, and a yoke part 7 where the support base is attached. For the optical pickup, the movable part 4 is provided with a buffer device 10 capable of a moving operation and the buffer device 10 performs the moving operation following the moving operation of the optical disk while being in contact with the surface of the optical disk when the movable part and the optical disk during the rotation get close to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
