<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development apparatus and an image forming apparatus wherein the life of a toner supply path is prolonged and the reliability is improved, and also, wherein stirring of the toner to be supplied to two-component developer is promoted by supplying the toner from beneath the developer, even when using small grain-sized toner, and the deterioration of toner electrification due to toner supplying is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode group 11 for carrying the supply toner by a progressive-wave electrical field (electric field curtain) is partly arranged on the toner supply path 10 in the developing apparatus. Also, the electrode group 11 arranged on the toner supply path 10 is extended so as to lie under a stirring member (2nd stirring member R2) for stirring and mixing the supplied toner and the developer in a development unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
