<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaction management system easily and accurately gathering information on the use of medical products with minimal human errors, and automatically executing issuance of invoices of suppliers and ordering for replenishment of used products based on the result of use of products deposited in a hospital. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a computer system 10 having an antenna 11 electrically connected through a reader and a medical product 100 encapsulated in a package in a sterilized state. The package is provided with an IC tag disposed so that signal transmission and/or reception is disabled. The IC tag becomes wirelessly communicatable with the antenna 11 when the package is opened and the medical product 100 is no longer in a sterilized condition. The computer system 10 reads the product information of the medical product from the IC tag now communicatable with the antenna 11, and based on the read product information, places an order through a dedicated line or an external network 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
