Disclosed are a waiting number ticket issuance system capable of improving the work efficiency of each institution using an up-t-date wireless communication technology and a waiting number ticket issuance service providing method thereof. According to the present invention, the waiting number ticket issuance system includes: a wireless terminal which transmits a search signal and location information to search for an institution; a central server which searches for candidate institutions within a preset range from the wireless terminal based on the search signal and location information and receives the candidate institution information and the waiting information of the candidate institutions; a candidate institution server which collects the candidate institution information and waiting information in real time and sends the collected information to the central server; and a waiting number ticket issuing device which includes a field user input unit, a short range communication module, an electronic waiting number ticket issuing module, and a paper waiting number ticket issuing module, transmits a waiting number ticket issuance check signal to the wireless terminal when the wireless terminal is tagged by the short range communication module and issues an electronic waiting number ticket or a paper waiting number ticket, or issues a paper waiting number ticket according to an input from the field user input unit. |
