IMAGE CORRECTION METHOD FOR IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus capable of suppressing color unevenness in all gradations which an input data may acquire.

SOLUTION: The method comprises; a step 1 for measuring an input-output characteristic data by performing an operation of acquiring an output data by displaying an image by supplying the input data of a prescribed gradation level to the image display apparatus and by measuring the image, while changing the gradation level of the input data; and a step 2 for determining a correction data for correcting an input signal for image displaying, by which the input-output characteristic data is brought close to a predetermined reference input-output characteristic data, in all gradation levels.
