<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide infiltration suppressing agents and methods, capable of suppressing tissue infiltration of leukemic cell by suppressing bonding of secretin-bonding sugar chain expressed on cell surface antigen CD43 with secretin, and to provide cytocidal agents and methods for killing the cells exhibiting strong bonding affinity to secretin-bonding sugar chain and CD43 holding the chain. <P>SOLUTION: The infiltration suppressing agents and methods capable of suppressing tissue infiltration of leukemic cell, and cytocidal agents and cytocidal methods for CD43 expression cells are provided by using, as a bonding-suppressing agent or a cytocidal agent and against secretin ligand sugar chain expressed on cell surface antigen CD43, (1) siRNA (small interfering RNA) suppressing expression of genes concerning to expression of cell surface antigen CD43 and secretin ligand sugar chain by RNA interference, (2) an inhibitor for sugar chain synthesis of pseudo bodies against substrate of sugar chain synthesis, (3) a decomposition enzyme for cell surface antigen CD43 and secretin ligand sugar chain, (4) antibody and the like against cell surface antigen CD43 and secretin ligand sugar chain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
