<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat insulating material for improving an unpleasant feel as a cold feel to be given to a human body, substitutive for feather or cotton in a protection against cold and applicable in a wide range for objects with little limitation to their shapes. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum heat insulating material 8 comprises a core material 9 and a skin material 10 covering the core material. Pressure in the skin material is reduced.
