<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost to be required for backup of power generation equipment. <P>SOLUTION: When the detecting portion 101 of a sign of malfunctioning detects the sign of malfunctioning of the power generation equipment 1A, the presuming portion 102 of a relation between operating conditions and a lifetime presumes information on the operating conditions and the lifetime of main components for the power generation equipment 1A, then a follow-up operation judging portion 103 judges whether the power generation equipment 1A can be continuously operated or not until a next scheduled shutdown date, based on the information on the operating conditions and the lifetime. If the follow-up operation is not possible, the cost required for power to be supplied to a local load 4 is considered, and if the follow-up operation is possible, the cost required for a shortage of the power to be supplied to the local load 4 is considered, then a backup selector 105 selects either of a base system 3B or power generation equipment 1B for backup, as a location where the equipment is to be backed up. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
