PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a ceramic heater in which mechanical strength of a heating resistor is increased and handling of the heating resistor at the time of manufacture of the ceramic heater is improved. SOLUTION: An element molding body 110 in which the top ends of lead parts 115, 116 respectively connected to flow current to the both poles of a heating part 111, which principally performs heating, are connected at the support part 119, is formed by an injection molding. The load due to weight of the lead parts 115, 116 in the element molding body 110 before calcination can be dispersed between the heating part 111 and the support part 119, thereby, breakage resistance is improved. And the molding body can be held in the ceramic base 120 made of an insulating ceramic, and, by pressing in one body, is calcined. After calcination, the rear end side of the ceramic heater is cut and the support part 119 is removed, thereby, short circuit between reed parts is not brought about. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
