PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent collision of tooth parts themselves and abnormal sound from being caused by vibration in a play mode. SOLUTION: A clutch mechanism 36 is provided between a driven pinion 24 and a gear mechanism 52, the clutch mechanism 36 consists of a clutch groove 50 formed partially at a central part outer peripheral plane of the driven pinion 24 and a clutch gear 51 of which the outer peripheral part is inserted partially in the clutch groove 50, the clutch gear 51 is linked and coupled to a feed motor 17 through the gear mechanism 52, after the feed motor 17 is driven by switching from a play mode to an eject-mode and an optical pickup 12 is moved to the most advance position (a), the driven pinion 24 engaged with a switching rack 23 is rotated normally by sliding a cam slider 7 in the direction (c) of left or right, and the clutch mechanism 36 is turned to be in ON-state by engaging the driven pinion 24 rotated normally with the clutch gear 51.
