PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the precision of determination whether fuel has been supplied in a vehicle remaining fuel display system which changes response speed of display, depending on whether or not a fuel supply has been performed from a stop state and a change in the remaining fuel amount of a vehicle, when its ignition switch is in an on-state, more than in a conventional system. SOLUTION: A controller 3 determines whether or not the vehicle is in a stop state from existence of changes in its direction and absolute position, from absolute position information and vehicle direction information which a navigation ECU 6 detects (Steps 12, 13), as well as determination of the magnitude of the vehicle speed by a vehicle speed sensor 5 (Step 11).
