PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact bearing device excellent in application of appropriate preload and in arrangement balance of an inside composition which is applicable to an HDD device having the thickness of 5 mm or less. SOLUTION: A bearing device 36 has a shaft 14 in which a flange 14b is formed on one end side and two roller bearings 16, 18 externally fitted along the shaft. Respective roller bearings are equipped with inner rings 22, 28 and outer rings 24, 26 relatively rotatably disposed to face each other and with a plurality of rolling elements 38, 40 freely rollably disposed between an inner ring racetrack groove of an inner ring and an outer ring racetrack groove of an outer ring. In at least one of the inner rings, one end side width t from the center of the inner racetrack groove to one end surfaces 22a, 28a is set shorter than the other end side width T from the center of the inner racetrack groove to the other end surfaces 22b, 28b of the inner ring. In the outer ring, one end side width m (the other end side width M) from the center of the outer racetrack groove to one end surfaces 24a, 26a (the other end surface 24b, 26b) is arranged at the approximately same position opposed to one end width or the other end width of the inner ring.
