PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide coater (slide type coating equipment) coating a thin film of a coating material on a moving strip-shaped flat plate, which provides a constitution of the slide coater enabling a quick transpose of the coating material, and enables a quick replacement of the coating material. SOLUTION: The slide coater 1 having a slide surface 2, a slit portion 4, and a header portion 5, and forming a slit opening 3, as a narrow slit on the slide surface is characterized in that the slit portion 4 and the header portion 5 have a shape penetrating both side surfaces of the slide coater 1, and openings 10 at both side surfaces of the slit portion 4 and the header portion 5 are closed at the time of coating, and opened at the time of changing the coating material. Further, an integral cartridge 16 that is a unity of the slit portion 4, the header portion 5, and a supply port 17 is provided. Through either one of penetrating apertures 19 provided on both side surfaces of the slide coater, the integral cartridge 16 is inserted at the time of coating, and detached at the time of replacing the coating material and the slit width.
