PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive applicator for a cylindrical member with which excessive adhesive does not come into contact with a vertical trough by eliminating dispersion of application amount of the adhesive. SOLUTION: In the adhesive applicator, an upper face 11 of a main body part 5, where an insertion port 10 for inserting a nozzle 50 for an adhesive container is formed, has a profile of U-shape. A central axis 13 connecting a circular part center of the U shape of the upper face 11 with a circular part center of the U shape of a lower face 12 is provided in parallel with a flank 9 of the main body part 5. Further the flank 9 of the main body part 5 is formed to a circular-arc shape in parallel to the inside 4 of the vertical trough 2. Discharge holes 8 are formed at the flank 9 facing a holding part 6 of the main body part 5 and a pair of band-shaped projections 25 are provided on the flank 9 of the main body part 5 so as to hold two discharge holes 8 therebetween to a circular-arc shape with the same periphery as that of the inside 4 of the vertical trough 2. A ring 41 inscribing the nozzle 50 for the adhesive container therein is inserted with freely rotating in an inner wall 40 near the upper face 11 of an insertion part 7 for inserting the nozzle 50 for the adhesive container of the main body part 5.
