PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold a cutting board, to drain water from the cutting board and to lean the cutting board in a facing type kitchen device. SOLUTION: The cutting board rest comprises an attaching part 3 disposed in the rear of a sink to be engaged with a projection which projects upward, and a cutting board support part consisting of a rear support part 4 for supporting the cutting board from behind and a front support part 5 for supporting the cutting board from the front.
