<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, an image processing method, an image processing program and a recording medium with the program recorded thereon for accurately identifying a plurality of regions in an image by integrating a background difference and color detection. <P>SOLUTION: At first, background image data are obtained by imaging only a background region 1 by a camera 3. Then, the coordinates of the pixels of the background image data and the color gradation values of the pixels are structured and stored in an identification space, and the background color region is formed in a structured data storing part 13. Then, input image data are obtained by imaging the background region 1 and an object region 2 by the camera 3. Then, a distance between the color gradation value of each of the pixels and the background color region in the identification space is calculated by a class identifying part 14. Then, it is discriminated whether the color gradation value of the each pixel belongs to the background color region or the other color region except background by the class identifying part 14 on the basis of the calculated distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
