<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a speaker and generation of a sound uncomfortable for a user even when an optical radio transmission line is shut off or interrupted and an erroneous clock signal is reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: A carrier sense part 103 sets a carrier sense flag F1 when shut-off or interruption of the optical radio transmission line is discriminated, a mute part 108 gradually mutes a digital sound signal after processing of an ECC part 107 when the carrier sense flag F1 is set and entirely completes mute at the time when an error detection flag F2 from the ECC part is set.
