<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the light emitting efficiency of a light emitting device by preventing absorption of light by a light absorbing part. <P>SOLUTION: A reflection part 8 whose reflection ratio of light is higher than that of a p-side bonding layer 7b is provided at the p-side bonding layer 7b consisting of material absorbing light, and the reflection part 8 is positioned at the outermost hull of a light emitting element 13. Thus, light radiated from a light emitter 5 enters the reflection part 8 from the outside of the light emitting element 13, but the light is reflected by the reflection part 8, so that absorption of the light by the p-side bonding layer 7b is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
