<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device which avoids the necessity for an operator to memorize a password, enables the operator to start an engine (E) and drive a vehicle as long as the operator possess a starter key (3) even when the vehicle such as agricultural machinery is in storage for a long period, and which can prevent the theft of the working vehicle since the password stored on the starter key (3) side is created every time the engine is driven, thus just mechanically creating the same type of a starter key cannot start the engine (E). <P>SOLUTION: The starter key 3 of a tractor is provided with a memory device 4 on the key side and a transmitter 5. On the tractor side, a controller C is provided which creates a renewed password every time the engine makes a stop. Then, the controller makes a memory device 7 on the tractor side store the password, and makes the memory device 4 on the key side store the password through the medium of the transmitter 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
