PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and assure long life by realizing maximum heat radiation effect of a heat radiating body with a simplified structure. SOLUTION: The electronic component 10A includes a housing 14 having therein a storing space 12 and a capacitor element assembly 16 which is stored in the storing space 12 of the housing 14 and generates heat. The capacitor element assembly 16 comprises an input terminal 18, an output terminal 22, a plurality of capacitor elements connected between these input terminal 18 and output terminal 22 and are stored in the housing 14, and first to third electrode plates 24a to 24c connecting in series a plurality of these capacitor elements. Moreover, the electronic component 10A includes a first heat radiating body 28 provided to the housing 14 for contact with the first to third electrode plates 24a to 24c of the capacitor element assembly 16, and a second heat radiating body 30 provided in contact with the first heat radiating body 28.
