PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a thermoelectric module, with which thermoelectric performance becomes excellent, thermoelements can easily be arranged and a thin module can inexpensively be manufactured. SOLUTION: P-type and n-type thermoelectric material pastes obtained by kneading p-type and n-type thermoelement thin bands manufactured by a liquid quenching method with binder are applied to a prescribed position on a lower electrode formed on a lower substrate by a screen printing method, and p-type and n-type thermoelement patterns are formed. Thermoelement patterns are calcinated. P-type and n-type thermoelements are formed in prescribed positions on the lower electrode. The adjacent p-type thermoelement and the n-type thermoelement among the thermoelements bonded onto a pair of adjacent lower electrodes are bonded to one upper electrode. A lead line is bonded to the lower electrode to which the thermoelements at both ends of the series connector of the p-type and n-type thermoelements are bonded by solder and the thermoelectric module is obtained.
